Basic bread

Bread is back, and you know this. But what you may not know, is how silly easy it is to make.

If the idea of baking takes you back to stressful scenes from The Great British Bake Off, you are not alone. I have ruined more bakes than I can count. Still, I make this recipe every week and have yet to spoil a loaf. If I can do it, you can too.

Here, the most basic white bread recipe; no starters, kneading, or British accents required.

Ingredient
3 cups flour
1.5 cups warm water
2 tsp salt
.5 tsp active/instant yeast

Tools
Bowl
Dutch Oven
Wrap

Steps

1. Combining dry ingredients first, mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Cover with wrap and let sit for 10 hours.

2. Once risen, preheat oven to 450 with dutch oven inside (don't include lid). While the oven heats, form a ball with dough and cover to sit for an additional 30 min.

3. Bake bread in dutch oven, with lid, for 30 min.  Remove the lid, and bake for an additional 12 min. Let cool before slicing.
